Congratulations to Leo-Paul Huar, PhD student within the Combo research team, who received the Best Industrial Paper Award at the ICPR 2026 conference, held from August 17 to 22, 2026, in Lyon.
This award recognizes his PhD research, entitled “3D Scene Compression Using Gaussian Splats.”
Leo-Paul Huar is pursuing a CIFRE PhD in collaboration with InterDigital and is co-supervised by Pierre Hellier (Associate Professor and Researcher at the University of Rennes) and Christine Guillemot (Research Scientist at Inria).
