Congratulations to Hugo Brument who received the IEEE VGTC Virtual Reality Best Dissertation Award Honorable Mention

 

The IEEE VGTC Virtual Reality Best Dissertation Award is presented each year to the author of the most outstanding Ph.D. dissertation, defended during the preceding two calendar years, in the broad areas of virtual and augmented reality.

Hugo Brument defended his thesis last December, in the Hybrid research team, under the direction of Ferran Argelaguet , Inria research fellow and Maud Marchal , INSA Rennes professor and under the supervision of Anne-Hélène Olivier , lecturer at Rennes 2 University.
The thesis is entitled “Towards User-Adapted Navigation Techniques in Virtual Environments: Study of Factors Influencing Users Behavior in Virtual Reality".
