Metabolic modeling has emerged as a powerful framework for investigating the complex interactions between phytopathogens and their host plants. By integrating genome-scale metabolic networks with experimental data, these approaches have provided key insights into nutrient acquisition strategies and metabolic adaptations during infection. They have also helped elucidate how plant metabolism is impacted by the presence of the pathogen. In this presentation, I will briefly introduce three metabolic models that I developed and highlight the biological insights they have enabled.
