5th international Traveling Workshop on Interactions between low-complexity data models and Sensing Techniques

SAVE THE DATES !

iTWIST'20, to be held in Nantes, France, on June 24-26.

The workshop will be preceded by a doctoral school on June 22-23, 2020.

The workshop aims at fostering collaboration between international scientific teams by disseminating ideas through oral/poster presentations on the topic of low-complexity data models (e.g., sparse, low-rank...) and novel data sensing techniques.

A list of themes can be found at https://itwist20.ls2n.fr

For this 2020 edition, iTWIST will feature 7 renowned invited keynote speakers:

Vincent Duval (INRIA Paris, France)
Mark Plumbley (Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing, University of Surrey, UK)
Christopher J Rozell (Georgia Institute of Technology, USA)
Karin Schnass (University of Innsbrück, Austria)
Irene Waldspurger (CNRS, University Paris-Dauphine, France)
Rebecca Willett (University of Chicago, USA)
David Wipf (Visual Computing Group, Microsoft Research, Beijing, China)

The doctoral school program will include 4 short courses on some fundamental topics of the workshop:

  • Nonnegative and Low-rank Approximations (J. Cohen, CNRS, Rennes)
  • Branch and bound techniques for combinatorial optimization (J. Ninin, ENSTA Betagne, Brest)
  • Computational optimal transport (G. Peyré, CNRS/École Normale Supérieure, Paris)
  • Deep learning approaches for classification (D. Mateus, Ecole Centrale, Nantes)
