Research interests

  • Adaptive Distributed Systems,
  • Load Sharing, Load Balancing and Fault tolerance,
  • Mobile Computing,
  • Design and Execution of Distributed Applications.
The increasing number of mobile entities and the explosive growth of the internet has produced new challenges in distributed systems in terms of quantitative and qualitative services. Indeed, mobile computing parameters such as network bandwidth, computer power, location, services available and so on, can tremendously vary, and even so, must satisfy the requirements of users of World Wide Web. To face these problems, only one word : adaptation. Adaptation must be conduct at different levels : system may offer mechanisms like fault tolerance, or load balancing taking mobile context into account, and applications may be built, and dynamically executed using distributed systems to its best advantage. That's what I am seeking after in my PhD research and in the AeDEn & MolèNE Projects.

Teaching activities

04/1999 - 04/2000 Pratical work in FUTÉ formation.
10/1996 - 01/1997 Pratical work in DEUG SV : Science and Biology (first year).
