We propose to extend the decentralized diagnosis approach proposed in [Pencole00a] in order to use it in an incremental way. The incremental approach is needed in order to provide on-line diagnosis and assist supervision operators. The difficulties about the incremental decentralized diagnosis approach are analyzed. Two solutions are proposed and discussed. This incremental approach has been experimented on telecommunication networks.
