Abstract This article presents a work in progress on an incremental and interactive learning method of decision rules from simulation data. Using this technique, we expect to improve the results of an existing approach, developed in the SACADEAU project and which learns decision rules from water and pollutants flows throughout a catchment area. We present the principles of an incremental and interactive method and we propose preliminary strategies for the key stages. The method is evaluated with these preliminary solutions and we give the prospects to explore for future improvements.
