Background and Position

I joined the Lagadic team at Inria Sophia Antipolis by the end of November 2013 as a CNPq scholarship holder. I'm working towards a PhD degree in Operations Research from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, under supervision of Dr Patrick Rives.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Control and Automation Engineering (2011) from the University of Campinas and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering (2013) from the University of Campinas and in Computer Science from the TU Compiegne (where I did also an internship in 2008/2009 during my undergraduate studies). During my masters I was also affiliated with the Robotics and Vison Lab at CTI Renato Archer research center.

Research areas

My PhD thesis deals with the general problem of robust navigation and control of autonomous robots in large-scale environments.
