EIT Digital: A project on intelligent parking is testing on the campus of Beaulieu, in Rennes.

With the support of the University of Rennes 1 and IRISA, Maxime Bricet, a graduate engineer from the University of Rennes 1, will test his start-up project on the Beaulieu campus (Rennes).

MyCarlot is a project carried out in 2016 by the pre-incubator INCUBE at EIT Digital in Rennes, which answered to the annual call for collaborative digital innovation projects1 (Call EIT Digital) in 2017.

Today, thanks to the University of Rennes 1, it is on the Beaulieu campus that this European project is testing its solution. MyCarLot enables park spaces government and better parking services leveraging upon connected sensors, cloud infrastructure and artificial predictive algorithms.

For Maxime Bricet, the first objective is to target places for people with reduced mobility then to target other players (delivery places, carpooling, electric cars) in order to market the solution. In the meantime, "the Rennes 1 campus is becoming a smart city", describes François Bodin, professor and researcher at IRISA and holder of the chair "Mobility in a sustainable city".
