UMLAUT Graphical User Interface

UMLAUT Graphical User Interface overview

Description

The UMLAUT tool allows the modeling of software systems in several views:
Class Diagrams, StateCharts, Use Cases views, Collaborations, Sequence Diagrams and Implementation diagrams.

Menus description

1. The main menu (click on file menu) of the interface is composed of the following options:

Use Cases, Class Diagrams, StateCharts, Sequence Diagrams and Implementation Diagrams Constructions

The following constructions consist of defining elements and afterwards relations between these elements. Particular information defined on the elements can be characterized. A use case captures the interactions between an actor and the system. A class diagram describes the types of the objects and static relationships among them. A StateChart view describes a dynamic evolution of the system. With Collaboration and Sequence Diagrams, we can specify the interactions between objects. An Implementation diagram gives some elements of the physical implementation of the system.
