 Notes

You need a Java Virtual Machine to run the Umlaut graphic user interface.
To get the Sun JRE, download at least the 1.3 release from the Java Soft Sun site
To get the IBM JRE for Linux, go to IBM's JDK version 1.3.0
To download the JDK for Linux , go to the Blackdown site

Umlaut Simulator needs the CADP tools. See the CADP web site.

Umlaut Simulator also needs the standard distribution of SmallEiffel that you can freely download from the LORIA site.

 Installation instructions

Windows Instructions :

To install Umlaut Simulator Then, the Umlaut package is installed in the directory umlautSimulator, which is created in the directory where you unpack the package.
To run Umlaut Simulator, execute the batch program runSimulator4NT.bat

Unix Instructions :

To install Umlaut Simulator Then, the Umlaut package is installed in the directory umlautSimulator, which is created in the directory where you unpack the package.
