Andrew Morton has given an overview of Linux kernel evolutions (memory management, filesystem...). He payed particular attention to the various virtualization technologies in Linux ((keywords: namespace, virtualization, container, kvm, checkpointing...).
Short biography:
Andrew Morton co-maintains the public Linux kernel with Linus Torvalds. He works with the other kernel contributors on merging new code into the kernel.org product. Since mid-2006 he has been employed by Google. Prior to this he worked for Digeo Interactive and at Nortel Networks' Australian R&D laboratories. Andrew holds an honours degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales
