The team is specialized in developing and running Test Suites and Test Tools for IPv6 protocols and architectures:

• IPv6 Core protocols
• Mobile IPv6
• IPSec
• Nemo
• Transition mechanisms (6to4, NAT-PT)
• BGP4+, OSPFv3, RIPng

Test tools are based on two different technologies:

• TAHI Tools: a set of tools, developed by the Japanese TAHI project team. Those tools are available for conformance and interoperability testing and cover the requirements of the IPv6 Ready Logo Program (phase1 and phase2)
• TTCN-3: a standard abstract language, developed by the European Telecommunications Standard Institute (ETSI). TIPI group has developed test suites for IPv6 and associated adapters for those test suites to be executed on any TTCN-3 (C++ based) development environment

Parts of our developments are distributed in open source, especially:

• T3DevKit: a toolkit to ease the development of conformance test suites in the TTCN-3 environment

• a couple of IPv6 Test Suites

The group is directed by César VIHO, and the engineering activities are strongly connected to the research activities of the DIONYSOS team in the field of interoperability testing.
