My research activities are focused on computer interpretation of spoken sentences and on the use of semantic knowledge in statistical language modeling.

Research

Machine Learning and Spoken language Understanding

  • Automatic Speech Recognition : language modeling, confidence measures

  • Spoken Language Understanding : Finite State Transducers

  • Machine Learning : Markov models, Support Vector Machines (SVM), Conditional Random Fields (CRF), Decision Trees (SCT), Boosting algorithms, Active Learning.
