Fuchun XIE finished his PhD thesis at the end of September 2010, from the TEMICS research team of INRIA-Rennes (Funding by INRIA CORDIS Scholarship), under the supervision of Dr. Teddy Furon and Dr. Caroline Fontaine. The research subject was "Robust and Secure Watermarking for Multimedia Traitor Tracing". Before, he received Master Degree in Signal and Image at the Université de Bordeaux 1 , and Engineering Degree in Electronic (Option: Signal and Image Processing) at the ENSEIRB ( École Nationale Supérieure d’Électronique, Informatique et Radiocommunications de Bordeaux), both in 2007.
His research interests included multimedia signal processing and multimedia content intellectual property rights protection. He was working on the field of multimedia fingerprinting, traitor tracing code, robust and secure watermarking, and the countermeasures against collusion attacks.
