Objectives and Goals

The objective of this workshop is to bring together researchers in the academia and in the industry to discuss mathematical formulations, numerical methods and benchmark results in the field of reactive transport modeling. We expect a lively interchange of ideas resulting in better categorization of the respective efficiency of each modeling approach and further collaboration proposals.

The focus of the meeting will be on:

• Mathematical formulation for reactive transport

• Numerical schemes for multiphase multicomponent flow

• Chemistry solvers for equilibrium and kinetic equations

This workshop is open to engineers and researchers in mathematics, physics and chemistry interested in modeling multiphase multicomponent flow.

Organizers :

Jocelyne Erhel, Thibault Faney and Anthony Michel
