Welcome

This is the homepage of Uli Fahrenberg, mathematician / computer scientist. It is deliberately kept short to be (hopefully) more easily maintainable.

I am a postdoc at IRISA Rennes, where I work within the ARC(TP)I project.

Previously, until November 2010, I have been postdoc and assistant professor at the department of computer science at Aalborg University, and yet earlier (until July 2006), PhD student / research assistant at the department of mathematical sciences at the same university.

Research

My current research is in the area of real-time and general quantitative systems and interfaces. I keep an up-to-date list of publications and a list of talks.

I am also interested in directed algebraic topology and its applications in concurrency theory, in categorical foundations for theoretical computer science, and in hybrid systems.
