Current Research Activities

My research activities focus on the design and implementation of fault tolerance solutions for large scale distributed systems. I work on three main projects:

O2P :
A scalable rollback-recovery protocol for message passing applications, based on active optimistic message logging and distributed message logging.
Semias:
A framework for high availability and self-healing of stateful services in large scale dynamic distributed systems, based on active replication on top of a structured peer-to-peer overlay.
XtreemGCP:
A Rollback-Recovery Service for the Grid.
