Distributed Computing, Grid Computing, Fault Tolerance, High Availability, Self Healing
Current Research Activities
My research activities focus on the design and implementation of fault tolerance solutions for large scale distributed systems. I work on three main projects:
- O2P :
- A scalable rollback-recovery protocol for message passing
applications, based on active optimistic message
logging and distributed message logging.
- Semias:
- A framework for high availability and self-healing of stateful services in large scale dynamic distributed systems, based on active replication on top of a structured peer-to-peer overlay.
- XtreemGCP:
- A Rollback-Recovery Service for the Grid.
