Short biography
Jean-Louis Pazat was born in Paris on May 23, 1959. He graduated from University of Rennes, France and obtained a PhD thesis (Thèse d'Université) at University of Bordeaux, in 1989. he obtained a "Habilitation à diriger des recherches" in 1997. From 1989 to 2004 he has been assistant professor at the CS Dept. of INSA of Rennes and researcher at IRISA. Since 2004, he is professor at INSA .
The main scientific interest of Jean-Louis Pazat is dynamic adaptation. He previously worked on software tools for Grids. He studied the mapping problem and distributed debugging during his PhD. He has been working on compilation techniques (e.g. HPF) for clusters.
He is now investigating Service Oriented Architectures, Software Components, Security and Dynamic Adaptation Techniques.
