Short Biography
From winter 2005 to fall 2009 I studied computer science at the Heinrich-Heine University of Duesseldorf, Germany. During my studies I focused on operating and distributed systems. In particular, fault tolerance techniques for distributed applications. From late 2007 until early 2009 I worked as a research assistant at the department for operating and distributed systems where I have contributed to the grid checkpointing service of XtreemOS and the Kerrighed kernel-level checkpointer.
From march 2009 till august 2009 I joined the INRIA MYRIADS research team at Rennes, France for an internship in the area of checkpointing and recovery for grids. I have finished my master studies in november 2009.
Since december 2009 I am a PhD student at the INRIA MYRIADS research team.
