Research Interests
In my research I have addressed the problem of controlling the sound field in a room with main application in sound equalization and sound field reproduction. Assuming a system with many reproduction channels, the aim is to define the loudspeaker driving signals in order to reproduce a desired sound field over a continuous spatial region inside a room. The focus is towards improving the quality and spatial extent of reproduction by using a limited number of measurement positions inside the room.
Since November 2010 I am recruited at INRIA as a post doc researcher for the project ECHANCE. My work concerns the application of compressed sensing techniques in underwater acoustic imaging.
