The CHD is a source-level cross debugger for debugging concurrent CHILL programs which are controlled by Concurrent Real-time Operating System(CROS). It provides programmers with the most effective debugging facility in which debugger itself runs on the host machines with the same functionality, and assisted in the isolation and diagnosis of errors in concurrent CHILL programs to be debugged which is to be run on target system. It consists of a host debugger, a target debugger, and communication interface. It runs on the CRAY CS6400 computers and SPARC workstations and can support general MC68030 processor applications as the target system. We made this tool to provide programmers who develop a large-scaled telecommunication system, TDX-10(Time Division Exchange 10), with effective debugging facilities. However, it can be used in wide range of telecommunication system development and cross-development environment as well. TDX-10 is a large- scale digital switching system being developed by ETRI(Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) funded by KT(KOREA Telecommunication). It composed of several dozens of MC68030 processors and sipports one hundred thousand subscribers.

To make our debugger more useful in real-time concurrent systems development, we are being tried to solve ongoing issues remained yet such as timer control problem, access anomalies detection, and so on.
