Background and Position
I graduated from the Engineer National School (ENI, Brest), speciality in
electronic in 1992, and received the Specialised Mastère's in Electronics and
Aerospace Telecom from Sup'Aéro in Toulouse (an
engineering school in space and aeronautics) in 1993. Since november 1994 I
have been working for the French National Institute for Research in Computer
Science and Control (INRIA) as a research
engineer, first in the Temis team (1994-1996), then in the Vista team (1996-2003) and since 2004 in
the Lagadic team.
Activities
I am in charge of the material and software management of several robotic
vision cells: two industrial robots manufactured by the Afma-Robots company, a
mobile robot nammed Cycab manufactured by the Robosoft company, a robot
intended to control the 3D echography acquisition in a medicalized environment
manufactured by the Sinters company and three pan, tilt heads respectively
manufactured by Directed Perception, Vic System and Metrica TRACLabs companies. I also deal
with the development and industrialization of image based softwares for robotic
or video indexing applications and I am in charge of the transfer of some of
these softwares to industrial or academic partners.
Member of the Comité de Centre Inria Rennes - Bretagne Atlantique (since 2009).
Member of the Engineers Evaluation Commission (CEI methods, techniques and
tools) of the French Institute for Agronomy Research -Inra- (2001-2008)).

Teaching
I gave tutorials in computer vision at INSA engineering school (2004-2008) and in software engineering for image processing at the Ifsic engineering school, University
of Rennes 1, DIIC2 INC (2002-2009).
