Background and Position

After graduating from highschool in 2004, I studied five years in Toulouse at the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA), where I obtained in 2009 an engineering degree specialized in Mathematics and Modelling. I received the same year a master degree in Applied Mathematics from the Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse (IMT).

I am working as a PhD student at the INRIA Rennes - Bretagne Atlantique since october 2009. This PhD thesis is supervised by Patrick Héas and Etienne Mémin.

Research areas

My main topic is the investigation and development of a wavelet-based motion estimator dedicated to turbulent fluid configurations. Examples of motion estimation can be found here.
Within this context, I am also interested into applying optical flow technics to lidar data.
