How to use Polychrony commands
For Linux/SunOs/MacOs
Access to signal and polychrony commands
When "Batch compiler" or "Graphical User Interface + Batch compiler" packages have been downloaded and installed, a shell-script file called polychronyEnv has been generated in your INSTALLATION DIRECTORY.
The execution of the command (it can be set in your .cshrc or .cshrc_perso file):source INSTALLATION DIRECTORY/polychronyEnv
gives access to the following commands:- signal: Signal batch compiler.
- use signal -h for details.
- use genMake -h for some useful utilities.
- polychrony (if downloaded): Graphical user interface and interactive functionalities.
- help on line.
- signal: Signal batch compiler.
Access to sigali command
When the Sigali package has been downloaded and installed, a shell-script file called sigaliEnv has been generated in your INSTALLATION DIRECTORY.
The execution of the command (it can be set in your .cshrc or .cshrc_perso file):source INSTALLATION DIRECTORY/sigaliEnv
gives access to the command:
- sigali
- consult the Sigali user manual for details.
- sigali
For Windows
Use the program's shorcuts called
- Polychrony GUI for the graphical user interface (if downloaded);
is the icon assigned to a Polychrony graphical program ("GPK" suffix).
- Signal Compiler for the Signal batch compiler;
is the icon assigned to a Polychrony textual program ("SIG" suffix).
- Sigali for Sigali tool (if downloaded);
is the icon assigned to a Sigali program ("Z3Z" suffix).
These commands are defined in a start menu folder (called Polychrony by default).
