My research interests include real-time animation of virtual humans, dynamic correction and dynamic perception in virtual environments. I am especially interested in the dynamic properties of human motion, such as reactions to external forces, perception of the dynamic properties of an object or motions in virtual environments... However my main interest concerns dynamic modification of motions captured on real humans in order to replay them under different experimental conditions, such as different morphologies, different external perturbations or different environmental conditions (wind, pushes, pulling objects...).
I grew up in Vannes, in the gulf of Morbihan, where I lived for 18 years. After that period I moved to the city of Rennes for my studies. I got my computer science engineer degree and my my Master of Sciences degree from INSA de Rennes in 2007. Then, I started my PhD at IRISA lab in computer animation under the supervision of Pr. Franck Multon and Pr. Taku Komura (University of Edinburgh). There, I am part of the team Bunraku which mainly work on Virtual Reality (Virtual Environments and Virtual Humans).
I love sport, every kind of sport, such as soccer, squash, ice hockey, running... And I love travelling too. I had the opportunity to live six months in Edinburgh and I really loved it. Hope I will be able to live abroad again, but waiting for that time I focus on my PhD and try to travel as much as I can...
