Workshop on
Statistical Inference for Stochastic Processes
Rennes, April 24-26, 1997
Practical Information

The venue is the building of IRISA / IFSIC, located on the campus of the university of Rennes. This is building 12D on the campus map.
On the first day of the workshop, the program will tentatively start at 11:00 only. This would allow to pick up people at the railway station arriving at 10:35 from Paris. This concerns not only French participants, but also other participants taking overnight trains (from Amsterdam, Freiburg, Berlin, etc.) and reaching Paris early in the morning. The other two days, the program will start at 9:30.
Transportation between the hotels and the campus will be provided every morning, and at the end of the afternoon sessions.

Otherwise, the campus can be reached by bus from the center of the city:

Take bus no.16 at the Republique bus stop (in front of the main post-office, within a few minutes walking distance from the hotels), and take off at the Tournebride bus stop (in front of the campus main entrance).
During the period of the workshop, the frequency is one bus every 10 minutes, and on Saturday it is slightly less.
Hotel reservation can be made for you, in either one of the following two hotels, which have proposed reduced rate for the workshop: Both hotels are located in the center of the city. All prices include taxes and breakfast.
A conference dinner will be organized on Friday evening.
