Short biography
I am currently a post-doc researcher in the ASAP team at INRIA Bretagne-Atlantique, Rennes, France. Before joining INRIA, I spent one year as a visiting researcher in the Mobile Computing Laboratory at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to that, I was with the Deep-SE group at Politecnico di Milano where I received my Laurea (Masters) degree and PhD respectively in 2002 and 2006. My research interests are mainly concentrated in the domain of distributed systems and particularly in the design and implementation of protocols for large-scale and dynamic network scenarios. After my initial work on publish-subscribe, I am currently concentrating my efforts on gossip-based protocols both in the context of overlay maintenance and data dissemination.
