All visitors are invited to present an ID upon arrival at Irisa.

By car

Coming from Paris, at the entrance to Rennes on the motorway. The campus is on the right immediatly after the "Rennes" bend.
 
Coming from Rennes downtown, in the direction Cesson-Sévigné/Laval. The campus is on the left, a few kilometers away.

On the campus, Irisa is located in the first building, to the left of the reception building (accueil) (see campus map).

By railway

Number of round trips on a typical week day and journey times with TGV (high speed train):

• 3 TGV Roissy/CdG airport-Rennes (2h58)

To reach Irisa by bus / subway, from the railway station (northern exit):

• walk along J. Janvier avenue upto Vilaine river. Turn left (Quai Zola): the bus station (lines #6, #4 or #40express) is 20 m away, close to the Museum ("Pasteur/Musée" bus stop). Get off at "Tournebride" bus stop.
• or : since March 16th, 2002, the new "A" subway route is linking efficiently the densest areas in Rennes. Get in the subway at "Gares", get off at "République" ; then use bus lines #6, #4 or #40express.
  

  Line #41express is direct from train station to the Campus (week days).
  Departures: 7h35, 7h45, 8h10 and 8h35.
  Back to train station ("Tournebride" bus stop): 16h11, 16h48, 17h15, 17h52, 18h15 and 18h44.

Tickets and fares : the 1-hour ticket will cost 1.10 €.

By airline

Direct flights from the Rennes-St Jacques airport: 22 direct daily flights to French and European towns.

To reach Irisa by bus /subway, from the airport:

Bus line #57 links St-Jacques to Rennes city center. Bus stops "Pommerais" or "Abbé Grimault" are 400 meters away from the airport.
Change at "République" for bus lines #6, #4 or #40express. Get off at "Tournebride" bus stop.

Tickets and fares : the 1-hour ticket will cost 1.10 €.
