Inheritance

To create an inheritance relation between two elements, first select "Inheritance" in the menu and after click on the subclass of the relation, and after on the upperclass of the relation. The following DialogBox appears to fill some information on the inheritance relation.

The fields are the following:

  • The name of the class.
    UMLAUT gives a value by default. You can change it.

  • The stereotype.

  • The visibility (public, protected, private) .

    A click on the "ok" button generates the corresponding element in the Class Diagram Working window.
